Here in Barcelona I am getting "sported up" to the max. Over the summer I have been watching the Euros, Tour de France, Olympics and now the Scottish football is back to join the party! With a few days to go before you can get your teeth into the new season of "Paella and Bovril" I thought I would give you a wee taste of and old one, trust me this Paella does not go off! A few years ago I went to montmelo, the Spanish home of Formula 1. This serving of P&B is from the programme that followed.  Enjoy and see you soon!  PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL TEAM AND IT'S MATCH DAY PROGRAMME! YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU! VVVVVVVVRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM………… I am just back from a day at Montmelo (Melon mountain). For those who do not know, Montmelo is the home to the circuit de catalunya, the track used for the Spanish Grand Prix.  Today was part of the test weekend being held before the season starts. Now a tickets to the Grand Prix start fr

Almost time to order up your servings!

Hola! Here we are again. I am busy writing the first few Paella and Bovrils for this seasons Raith Rovers matchday magazine, The Rover. Last year the magazine won GPFootball award for best programme in the first division, well done all involved! This is just a wee post to let you know that regular articles will be coming thru the season so keep an eye out or sign up to receive a notice. Happy new season to come folks!

Just a wee note.

Hola! Having finally recovered from "La Roja"'s win I am pleases to say normal servings of Paella and Bovril will resume soon. Can I first say congratulations to John McGlynn on his fantastic move to Hearts. Of course as a Raith fan I am sad to see him go. But this gives me the chance to say a even larger congratulations to Grant Murray, Paul Smith and Laurie Ellis,  Raith's new management team , on their new adventure.  I am sure we will all wish them the best of luck and see you pre-season guys!   The closes season has seen the loss of Rangers and as I write this we have no idea where "The Rangers"are going. Fans are crying out and we can only hope they are heard, FIFA today let the cat out the bag, or the ball over the line, with the annoucment that we may see that goal line technilogy sooner rather than later! All of these topics and more will be in the mix for this seasons dishing up of P n B. See you all in the pre-season.
